Trophy Presentation

England won the 2009 4 Nations Tournament - Derick Townend's boyz scored 63 points. A strong Northern Irish delegation secured the runner-up position, gathering 38 points. The Republic of Ireland finished 3 with 31 points and Austria doubled last years score, finishing 4th with 12 points.

The highest break of the tournament was a 161 by Rob Hall. He and Jonathon Bagley (who had the highest 90 minutes score of the tournament: 753) were the only players who managed to score 100+ breaks on the rather difficult tables in Vienna.

Once again, as it can't be said too often: A big Thank you goes to the Referees, who did a great job and refereed a total of 72 matches - and to tournament director Clive Scott.

Referee

As a referee with EABA I can't imagine what a great tournament is up and coming in the 4 Nations and I am very sorry I could not be there.
My tip would be England to win but after refereeing Paddy Donnelly recently I know he will take a lot of beating in his matches. ;-) Best of luck to all taking part and to all the organisers.

It's an honour to have been choosen as the captain for the Austrian Team espc. in the year Austria is hosting the 4 Nations. I hope my experience as Upper Austrian youth-coach helps me to create a strong bond within the team. I feel very enthusastic and optimistic about the competiton where the Austrian team will do it's best to make it this weekend a successful one.
