Editor's Note

I hope everyone who visited this website enjoyed the information and updates i tried to give you during the 4 Nations tournament. The visitor statistic as been very good regarding the size of the Billiards Community and i hope everyone liked what s/he saw. This website, which i put together a few days before the start of the tournament, was a private project to support the sport and this tournament in particular because in my opinion the internet is an important medium to promote English Billiards where a small community is scattered over so many countries and continents.

Thanks to Felix, whom most of you will know as the Webmaster of billiard-junkies.co.uk - Felix ran the Livestream and takes care of the required hard/software, he provided me with ideas for improvement on the site and allowed me to host the site on our homeserver. Thanks to those who kindly provided me with information, logos or comments and to those who told me that i did a great job - a girl always loves compliments ;-)

	It is a great pleasure to play this prestigious tournament in the own country. We will try to play the best 4Nations ever to show everybody that Austrian Billiards is improving continuously.

Team Selection Finished

All the players for the forthcoming Billiards International have been confirmed. Northern Ireland has nominated Garry Gavan as their reserver player. If none gets lost on the airport, England will compete with a team of 8 (Derick Towned is their Non-playing captain) - as does Austria (Günther Eckhart is our Non-playing captain) and the Republic of Ireland (Brendan Devlin is captain and player) while Northern Ireland travels with 7 active players to Vienna.

	I´m very pleased to play for the Austrian team in such a great tournament. We have nothing to loose, so we can go relaxed into the matches. Perhaps we can get a few points on the scoreboard. Enjoy the tournament, enjoy Billiards!
